World of Warcraft – Everybody Can Become a Leader in WoW

5:51 am by admin. Filed under: Guild Guide

World of Warcraft is, in many ways, a completely virtual world, and a lot of things work the same way there as they do in the real world. Picture this: You’ve just became a leader at your work, but you have no clue about how to lead people. Well, guess what? You can test it in WoW without suffering any devastating consequences.

Groups and Guilds

Of course, there’s many things you can do on your own in WoW, but many quests can only be done in groups. You can form a group from quest to quest, or dungeon to dungeon, or from battleground to battleground. Every time you’ll meet new members, and face new leadership demands. People also form larger, more permanent groups which are called guilds. Anybody can create a guild, but it takes a lot of leadership and knowledge to run it the correct way.

Challenges for a Guild Master

You can compare a guild master to a leader in many ways. A guild master has the overall responsibility of running the guild. That means, everything from striking up a conversation in the guild, to making sure of the members morale and behavior – even to “firing” guild members for conducting themselves in ways that go against the betterment of the guild.

Sometimes, you’ll face challenges that take all your knowledge and leadership to handle competently. One of the trusted members of the guild might do something that is against your policies, such as stealing from the guild bank; or begging from other players; or “needing” things in a dungeon that everybody has the same right to use.

How do you deal with things like that? In real life, you might be forced to fire such an employee, and that’s not the easiest task to handle. You might think that it doesn’t really matter in WoW, but then you would be wrong. Some guild members get really distressed if you throw them out of the guild, so you’d better be prepared to take care of that, too.

What behavior do you wish from your guild members? Should they at least say “hello”, when they enter, and “goodbye” when they leave – or doesn’t that matter to you? This is, perhaps, a small thing, but it’s important for the group morale that people know and matter to each other, therefore a minimum of politeness should be obligatory. Are you able to make your guild members live up to your policies? If not, then don’t expect to be able to lead a department.

It’s Not All Bad, of Course!

If you only had bad experiences from being a guild master, I guess there would be a lot fewer guilds in WoW. The good news is that this isn’t the case. Many members will look up to you as the leader, and learn from what you do, and how you behave. You have a great responsibility here, but you will also receive great rewards. Just like you would by being a leader in the real world.

And now it’s time to get some free tips about how to earn gold in World of Warcraft – and have fun doing so, when you earn fast gold. Gold can pay for cool mounts, pets and better armor and weaponry, but don’t spend your time on boring gold farming. Earn gold the fun way. Learn how to at my site http://SpeedWoWGold.com.

How To Develop A Successful World Of Warcraft Guild

5:42 am by admin. Filed under: Guild Guide

Many World of Warcraft players eventually come to a point in their game play where they feel as if they are ready to create a guild. Creating a guild is not for everyone – it takes a lot of work, structure, organization, and patience in order to establish a productive guild. Here, you will discover some great strategies on how to develop a successful World of Warcraft guild. It is important for you to know and understand that this may take a little bit of time to accomplish. In addition to this, you may not always succeed when you try the first time. If this is the case, do not lose your motivation – there is always a way to turn things around in your favor.

Establishing your own guild is not a difficult task – the creation is the simple part. However, the process behind guild crafting may prove to be a bit challenging. First, you need to ensure that you have a bit of in-game cash that you can dedicate to the task. Once you have a good bit of funding to back you, you will simply want to find a Guild Master in the game. The cities that have these Guild Masters are as follows:

- Thunderbluff

- Darnassus

- Orgrimmar

- Undercity

- Ironforge

- Stormwind

If you are having a difficult time locating these individuals, you will find that there are various guards that are sprinkled throughout the city. Simply click on one of these and then select “Guild Master”. The guard will then inform you of where this individual is, and if you look at your map in the upper right hand corner of your game screen, you will see an arrow. This arrow will point you in the right direction. Simply follow this until you reach your destination.

Once you reach the Guild Master, you will want to click on the option that allows you to learn about creating your own guild. All you have to do at this point is select a name that reflects what you want your guild to be called. It is important to create a powerful name if you want a successful guild. Great names like “The Devotees”, “The Distinguished Dynasty”, and “Heroic Nights” are bound to pull in some interested parties. However, names like “The Chics”, “Fighters”, and “Demon Hunters” may not pull in a lot of traffic.

Once the name has been chosen, you will be issued a “Guild Charter”. This is a list that requires you to obtain at least ten names prior to the official “establishment” of your guild. While it may be tempting to just run around and invite anyone you see, it is important that you are a bit selective in this process. You will want to ensure that you review a character’s level, their skills, their knack for team work, and more. When inviting powerful players to sign your guild charter, you may want to offer a token of appreciation in return – like 50 silver pieces, or a gold piece.

Once you have acquired the necessary ten signatures, you will want to return to the Guild Master to officially “register”. Once this has been accomplished, the Guild is established on the server that you have selected. You will then want to create a Guild Tabard that your members can wear to display their devotion to the guild, as well as a bank tab that will allow players to deposit and withdraw in-game cash and items. In order to ensure that you are a successful guild, you will want to take few measures like:

- Encouraging members to become active in the guild by helping members complete quests, share items from skills, and place uncommon and rare items in the bank tab

- You will want to ensure that you create a website for your guild at the World of Warcraft website and make participation a stipulation for remaining a guild member

- You will want to encourage promotions in the guild by setting tasks that guild members must accomplish in order to advance in their standing

- You will want to ensure that you take the time to personally offer your assistance to all of the members and offer them incentives for being productive within the guild

If you take these steps, your World of Warcraft guild is sure to be one of the most successful ones on the server that you play on!

Gold Gathering Tips For Wow – Finding And Starting Guilds

5:32 am by admin. Filed under: Guild Guide

With a subscriber base of over 9 million players, it can seem a little lonely if you join a server with nowhere to go. To help players out, a guild system was invented by Blizzard, which allows players to talk to each other and team up to do different quests. So let’s look at you’re two options: finding one, or starting one up of your own…

Finding a Guild:

If you are fairly new to the game (level 15 or lower), it’s pretty important you find a good guild to help you out. Each server typically has hundreds of them, and you need to know what to look for when you join one.

First off, look at the times the guild is online. You’ll want to join one that has most of its members on around the same times as you normally play. If you can’t play with your guild when you normally play the game, then it’s not worth staying with them.

Secondly, the members of the guild you join should be around the same level as you are. Try to pick ones with members who share your chosen professions, so you can participate in quests with the guild. It ultimately comes down to what you want to do. If you want to join a guild to do quests with them, then pick a guild whose members are similar to your character. If you just want to chat with other players, it won’t matter so much.

Starting a Guild:

If you can’t find something you like, the other option is to become a guild master and create your own guild. This is not easy, however, and many players end up regretting become a guild master after a while.

When you start a guild you’ll need to go out of your way to try and find members. The problem is that most players aren’t interested in new start-ups, and would naturally rather join large, active guilds with many members to talk to. If you have some friends who play the game, then get them to join. This will at least kick start it in the right direction.

Another thing you have to do is set up a leadership chain. Many guilds don’t last longer than a few days because starting up a leadership chain takes work. You need to set up different styles of command, and position your friends to take different roles.
